On arriving at Waiheke’s wharf at Matiatia you can take a 15 minute bus ride to within 150 metres of the front door, or take a taxi for approx. $12. While close to Palm Beach, shops and restaurants at Oneroa and Ostend are only a short distance away.
Palm Beach is a gorgeous sandy eastern beach with gentle breakers, safe swimming and fantastic beach walks. Drive or take an easy ten minute walk down to the beach where you'll find ample parking, dairy, art gallery and even boasts a beachside cafe.
