Wow! What a fabulous place to spend Christmas

The weather couldn't have been better and the bach had everything we needed - except a teapot (duly noted!). We couldn't have had a better time.

Manna from Heaven!

Fantastic spot, wonderful scenery - very refreshing. Wild winds and bursts of rain on the second day - very cleansing! Children loved watching the boats going out - the jetski folks and the water skiers. Building sandcastles, playing on the swing - great diversions while adults sought oblivion in the nearby walks and their books. Rugged, craggy mountain scenery, spectacular against scudding clouds. Will be back if we can. Thanks a tonne!

Fantastic location with inspiring views,

uplifted our spirits, even on Saturday when the weather was truly awful. Great range of toys to play with inside which saved the day for our boys. Had a chance to kayak on Sunday which was fab. We'll definately re-book to come back again!

Had an absolutely fantastic break!

We will definitely be booking your wonderful beach escape again! The name definitely lives up to it!! Had a wonderful long weekend. Our daughter Anabella, 20 months old, just loved the huge sandpit in the front garden and Spohie, 8 months, had extra long sleeps as she was so relaxed. A fantastic spot to get away to. House well setup. Its been a refreshing break from the big smoke.

I enjoyed being so close to the sea, going...

to sleep with the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach. Sooo restful - Kathleen. It was wonderful kayaking at dusk in the light rain. So warm compared with Dunedin - James.
I really like all the comics, the "Visual Brain Storms" game, and other board games. You also had a great big collection of magazines - Alannah.
There are some great Calvin & Hobbes books of cartoons - Andrew.

Nice to be so close to the sea

9 friends have stayed the weekend and we have had a fabulous time....

a piece of paradise what a great place! We watched the All Blacks vs Lions test with Robert & Dot and locals at the Volunteer Fire Station.... it was a life saver to be able to watch the test @ Oakura... fabulous hospitality. No one wants to leave. What a magnificient spot. Would love to come back in the summer time.
